I hurt everwhere

OK so as most of you know I had surgury on tuesday well i took it easy the first few days but yesterday and today not so much. Yesterday was my Sister in laws birthday so we ran around trying to get stuff done for that then we didn't leave her house til 11 last night I was so tired but for the last 2 night haven't slept good i finally have to take to Xanax last night ( low dosage 5mg each) so dont think i am popping pills lol

But today we are takiing my sister out and proably running more errands and tomorrow is sunday and we got a postcard from church saying that they missed up so off to church we go

I just hope I dont end up back at the hospital I have terrible cramping the last few days

A women never gets any rest!!!

here I sit not doing anything interesting I am trying to catch up on shows that i missed this fall I have a huge list

I am watching Desperate Housewives right now funny thing is I got John Boy to watch this show lol too funny!

Big Brother and other ramblings

Hey yall
So I got this cool gadget on my desktop so I thought I would just use it to post a new blog so....
some things going through my head right now

1. Why did obama choose they guy he choose for VP
Anyone know the answer?

2. I am so nervous for tueday surgury is a big deal to me becuse I have never had surgury before its nerve wrenching hopefully everything will go ok

3.I wonder who will win big brother I wonder I really Like Renny and dan dum dum dum

4. Its HOT here and no rain I really love rain its peaceful to me

5. having no insurance sucks all this medical bills are going to add up and i need a job and there are none Higher living costs and no good jobs even with my educational background sucks!!!

Shopping

Now as a women I love to look for bargins and today I found a few I just thought I would share also I have nothing better to do...

1. 10 % of a meal using a discount card I got from my sister's school at Andy's
(btw) awesome food just yummy! 1.63

2. Jcpenny's Got John Boy a name brand shirt 5.33 with a $10 off coupon

3. Target Dansani water was 3.99 and its usually over 4 dollors (or it was the Food Lion I went to yesterday) i bought 2 24 packs 7.98 (it would have been $11 or more if I had gone to Food Lion) savings 4.00

4. Had to get some draino on the label it had a .55 cent coupon off on the label took that off and used it it was like 1.50
5. I also bought a lot of on sale items this week at Target ( When Target has a sale they have a SALE) I love shopping at target for on sale items when they are not on sale I cant afford them..

Got some Toliet cleaner for 1.73 and some Lean Cusines 1. 73 so I figured I saved at least 40.00 today on stuff I needed for around the house gotta love a sale!

And I also love COUPONS!!! i never thought I would be I do its like a obession now trying to find coupons for stuff we eat well I could have worst obessions I guess

Part 2 of living in the south

Ok with any good things there are bad things

1. There is still some prejudices hate to say it but there are you cant leave some things in the past and that is one of them I still hear at the country gas station down the road the N word I cant stand that word but sadly its used here to this day


NOW LET ME SAY ITS NOT ALWAYS LIKE THIS BUT IAM JUST SPEAKING FROM EXPIERENCE AND MY OWN EYES AND Ears

2. Everything move slowier in the south the people, the jobs, the thoughts about certain things
Example: Thoughts about the ecomony, or the president, or Ipods even you dont see many older individuals with Ipods or computers they just dont know how to deal with them

3. Everyone in the south is a (should i dare say it) Republican GASP!
And you can not I repeat CAN NOT change there views on a black man trying to get into the white house shutter to think....
Laslty, in closing my favorite Reinactors God love them
They think they are going to change a 150 years old war sorry hate to tell them but nope General Lee will always surrendor and you cant change that no matter how many times a year you go out and fight it

But with all our shortcomings do i love living in the south HELL YES
More things I love the sense of community among people the neighbors that know you by name and the people at your local store that knew your grandfather and want to tell you stores everytime you go in

One more thing i love about the south how people will lift up there fingers to wave to you when they see you you never see that up north they usually are flicking people off up there I guess thats all i have to say but dont get me wrong I absoultly love the south i was born under a dixie flag and by god i will die under one.

What I have observed in my 24 years in the south

Ok this is just going to be a musing of sorts so bare with me

First off I was raised in the south, there is no place i would rather be I have traveled to Ohio before but that all of leaving that I have done and I was only there for 4 days

Things I love about the south

The food no one can make better then in the south
Pecan Pie
Chocolate Pie
Collards
Greens
Chow Chow
Okra
Fried Chicken
sweet potatos
I could go on and on

The people is something else I love
This people will bend over backward for you no matter what
They couldn't be more nicer
words like Sug, Hun, and sweetheart are heard every where you go.
I love that people that don't know you from Adam still show you kindess

The Roots
I love you can drive for hours and never see the same things twice
Either you see a farm with a dog on the front porch with a swing like the above picture
tobacco blowing in the wind getting ready to harvest
or corn thats not doing to good because of the the weather
you always see some kind of beautiful land scape
