Bill Gates recently gave a speech at a High School about 11 things they did not and will not learn in school. He talks about how feel-good, politically correct teachings created a generation of kids with no concept of reality and how this concept set them up for failure in the real world.

Rule 1 : Life is not fair - get used to it!

Rule 2 : The world doesn't care about your
self-esteem. The world will expect you to accomplish something BEFORE you feel good about yourself.

Rule 3 : You will NOT make $60,000 a year right out of high school. You won't be a vice-president with a car phone until you earn both.

Rule 4 : If you think your teacher is tough, wait till you get a boss.

Rule 5 : Flipping burgers is not beneath your dignity. Your Grandparents had a different word for burger flipping: they called it opportunity.

Rule 6 : If you mess up, it's not your parents' fault , so don't whine about your mistakes, learn from them.

Rule 7 : Before you were born, your parents weren't as boring as they are now.. They got that way from paying your bills, cleaning your clothes and listening to you talk about how cool you thought you were. So before you save the rain forest from the parasites of your parent's generation, try delousing the closet in your own room.

Rule 8 : Your school may have done away with winners and losers, but life HAS NOT. In some schools, they have abolished failing grades and they'll give you as MANY TIMES as you want to get the right answer. This doesn't bear the slightest resemblance to ANYTHING in real life.

Rule 9 : Life is not divided into semesters. You don't get summers off and very few employers are interested in helping you FIND YOURSELF. Do that on your own time.

Rule 10 : Television is NOT real life. In real life people actually have to leave the coffee shop and go to jobs.

Rule 11 : Be nice to nerds. Chances are you'll end up working for one.

Yes i am blogging my acer is working enough right now for me to type this up whats going on with me you ask well read on and find out

1. I am going to southtube or i at least hope too the drive is not something i am looking forward to but 8 hrs and 42 minutes itsn't really that bad i guess when other people are driving 10+ to meet all these people. I just need to get motivated to want to go next year i am planning on charlotte or Raleigh which is SOOOOOOOOo much closer! i will be voting as much as i can next year for those 2 places

2. no job yet of course i am getting burned out looking for work i figure that i will go back to school or something come janurary i just really want to work not go to school i did that for too long lol

3, I have spent wayyyyyyyyyyy to much time latey on facebook playing the games and things that they have on there maybe thats the reason i dont have a life lol

4. I have mentioned that southtube is going to be taking all my money i hope come home with some gas the hotel and food and anything else we do adds up but i really want to do this so... i will make a sacriface for the next couple of months i guess

5. I cant belive christmas is just a couple of months away i haven't started my christmas shopping but i can wait til december i guess i usually get the same thing every year for people so its kind of easy

ok so i know i haven't been around blogspot i have been on facebook and myspace and a little on youtube and twitter i just havn't felt like typing plus this acer sucks!!! I SOOOOOOOOOOOOoo want a new computer i have been looking around but until i get a job i have no choice but to use this computer *sigh*

No job yet- still looking though alot of applications and no job really suck I really want to work I love having money to do stuff with and yeah what else

where do i start?

so i didn't feel like doing a vlog on youtube so i thought i would write it out..

Ok the yard sale for my mother's in law's house was saturday and we made like over 800 too bad we proably wont see that money because my SIL has to pay the bills but in the last 2 weeks i have put in more time then she has i hate being taken advantage of urghhh people just think that because i dont have a job i can just do anything

well what they dont know is that I got a call back from target on last thursday i turned down the job because in August I am going back to nursing school and I dont want anything to deter me from that right now while i am sure target is a great job its just not what i want to be doing for the rest of my life....

so, in wake of that everyone acts like i did the worse thing possible by turning down that job well yes the money proably would help but in one year i will be making so much more then that why bother....

the weather needs to hurry and warm back up because i am ready to hit the beach i hope that we can go in may for our anniversary but i dont know how the money situation will be then....

i have been feeding my birds that have come this winter oiled sunflower seeds and with them comes the squirrels i am really not loving them but they are signs of spring which makes me feel better....

i still haven't finished my taxes i really need to get on that but everytim i look at them i feel overwhemled....

i think that i have one or 2 more days of shredding papers at the mil's and then i should be done with that for at least a while....

well i guess that all i can update you on

One more thin I am hoping in October to go to Southtube 3 i am sooo ready to go too i haven't gone and i loved meeting dianna in janurary that was a lot of fun...

ok so i know i haven't made a blog i just haven't had much to blog about so lets see whats new now

We are getting ready for my Mother in law's yard sale she has soooooooo much stuff!! i might include a photo tomorrow somtime there is still alot of stuff to do but at least my SIL might have a buyer of the house which would be great because we really need the money

2nd the weather has been cold for last few days but tomorrow is suppose to be 73 which would be great! i love warm weather

3rd i am sooooo frustarted with technology right now my printer has gone out on me which really made me mad urghhh so JOhn boy did help me to find the older one and plugged it up all we have to is get a new print cardiage and go from there hopefully, we thats the enexpensive way i dont really want to spend over 100 for the 3 in one that something i dont need right now

4th i still dont have a job urghh it makes life alot harder but i knew what i was getting in to when i quit my last job the problem is i live in a small town and the jobs are few and far between and everytime i try to go to the unemployment agency the line is out the door and around the corner to the parking lot it crazy!

lastly well there really isn't anything else except hubby set me up with his wireless mouse and keyboard and its soo nice ok blog

Having no job sucks!

Ok so I know that me quiting my job wasn't my brighest moment but the pressure I was under was terrible, I didn't know that tryng to find a job would be so difficult I know that eventually I will find a job I love but its the wait that sucks and slowly I am running out of money and the stress overwelms me

Our electic bill was 216.00 this month because we had to have some work done and lets not get it that problem.

Our did get our phone bill cut down were we are only paying for the basic and Caller ID and our DSl and thats it but thats still 79.00 but it was 91 so I am saving money but now enough really thinking that I am going to have to cut that off too But I wonder if I can have the DSL without the phone line?
The Satilite is 83.01 and John boy doesn't want me to cut that down ANY and he does pay that bill so I really cant say no but we also got the car tax this month plus they upped John boys car insurance and all the bills are just overwelming

BTW they put a freeze on all State Jobs so I have to wait if I want to get a State job and i really need the benifits!

URRGHHH I am so irrate

Hopefully, there are brighter days ahead but who knows when that will happen

A new job a new opprtunity

First, I had a blast with dianna this past weekend it was so much fun to just sit around and talk about life and youtube *sigh* I wish i could tour around the world and meet youtubers that would be a blast!

Secondly I have a job interview this Thursday at a Spine Center as a recptonist I do hope i get it but I really doubt i will all the secretries that I have seen have been young and thin and I might be young but not thin

Thirdly The cats got approved for the SNAP-NC which is low income spay and nuter program here they get shots, and surgury and pills for 25.00 a piece and since we have 2 that will be 50 I hope that I can swing that when the time comes....

Lastly the company that I previously worked for gave me my final check this past friday I thought that I wouldn't get anything because in the handbook says they can take out stuff for training and what not
well they didnt' they actually gave me everything I earned so at least i left on a decent note ya know...

OMG I know i haven't been around life has just been brutal and hard the last 2 months and i just didn't have time and or energy to write as i write this its is 74 degrees in NC right now WHAT??? That is unreal to me

On another note Jim On Janurary 9th 09 me and Diana are meeting in Charlotte dont really know where yet but if you want to meet us there that would be great we are trying to get Doug also to meet because Charlotte isn't far from him. So let one of us know ok

Job well if you watched my youtube video I quit it was a hard decsion and one I didn't take lightly I know how the encoomy is right now but I was compromising my self and the job wasn't all they told me it would be so I held out long enough to make a decent second check and move on sooo... I am unemployed but I am soooooooo ok with that this time. IIt was just a bad situation and I am glad to be out of it. I have no clue what I am going to do know but I would love to work in a doctor's office and I have but in a application so who knows where life will take me next....

Christmas was ok I guess I was lucky that I was blessed with seeing my family I had to miss thanksgiving and like Diana told me that is time I will not get back so it was nice to have time to spend with them just to talk to me niece and laugh and just be ya know

Whats new
Well there is has been so much happening lately i almost dont know where to start

1) I got the job that i interviewd for in October my title is Rehabilition Techincal Therpist ( i love the title!) in a group home we have 6 residents so small but big enough for 1 person

2) Bad part I have to stay there for 3 1/2 one week and 2 1/2 the next week( Tuesday- Friday) (or Wendesday to Friday) (Tuesday 6 pm-10pm) (wendesday 6 am- 10pm) (Thursday 6 am - 10pm) Friday (6am-6pm) I am unable to come home which sucks I will miss my bed and my babies, and I wont get paid until Devember 12th that might not seem like a long time but I have been working there since November 10th. Also I am having to work Thanksgiving it SUCKSSS!!! I will miss that time with my family ALOT!!!
But I got Christmas off because i am working the Sunday- tuesday shift for a coworker and she is taking my rest of the week shift

3) The pay isn't great but its good enough for me right now its better then just sitting aroud staring at walls

4) I have two new furbabies Walker and Addison they are awesome! It was really hard to to go without a cat beause of Sammie but now we have 2!

5) On saturday I starting puttting up my christmas tree, and etc... christmas is trully my favorite holiday the lights, the presents, the family *sigh* i can see it now!

ok well tomorrow I start my shift I am ready and sort of scared but pray everything goes well and I really enjoy this type of work!

I got the job that i interviewd for on the 6th YES!!!! I had my finger printing today and i then next week physical (which they pay for) , then training (they pay me for) then I start work other then that nothing much going on its getting colder which i love the weather is changing and getting so beautiful!! fall in the south is gorgous! So i am sorry i have been away for a few days I have been waiting to here from my job interview that i had last week it was a good job with everything i am looking for and i still haven't heard a word its been a week i am getting a little pissed off also the women said NO PHONE CALLS so this makes it more difficult to find out anything... other then that i have been not doing to much... i am looking at other jobs but i want to wait until i have heard from this job before making any decisons...

Its finally gettting cooler during the day and I love this time of year it makes me want to seat outside and just breath so wonderful *sigh*

Ok I guess thats it nothing much to report still dont know who I am voting for Its a big toss up but I did Grey's Antomy starts tomorrow night so thats something to look forward too

Well Jim left me a message guess its time to do a blog lol
The storm was over and gone before we knew it it came, it saw, it conqured I guess
We didn't have that much damage
Broken trees and limbs and leafs but nothing major there was some damage to the underpinning of my house but that's not major
But the only problem with that storm was the BUGS!!! The next day I felt like I was in the woods the bugs were TERRIBLE cockroachs,moths, flys you know it I saw it
I even saw a bug that look liked a roach but with horns you think i am kidding I AM NOT!!! And the snakes oh boy dont get me started i dislike anything that crawls or in snakes case bites and that can eat me.

I have a job interview on September 15th at `1200 its working with the county i live in at a housing authority hopefully it will pan out I REALLY NEED A JOB!! And I really want to go to Southtube and thats the only way because we are still paying off my medical costs and they are CRAZY!!!

Well as some of you might know North Carolina is going to get hit with Hurricane Hannah or as some are calling it annah either tonight or tomorrow morning now I live about 1 hour and a half from Wilmington NC which is getting hit majorly but the eye of the storm is suppose to hit my town too I went to target yesterday to buy water all of the water was gone same as at walmart when we have a major hurricane or storm they buy all the water there was a ton of bread though makes me wonder

OK so as most of you know I had surgury on tuesday well i took it easy the first few days but yesterday and today not so much. Yesterday was my Sister in laws birthday so we ran around trying to get stuff done for that then we didn't leave her house til 11 last night I was so tired but for the last 2 night haven't slept good i finally have to take to Xanax last night ( low dosage 5mg each) so dont think i am popping pills lol

But today we are takiing my sister out and proably running more errands and tomorrow is sunday and we got a postcard from church saying that they missed up so off to church we go

I just hope I dont end up back at the hospital I have terrible cramping the last few days

Now as a women I love to look for bargins and today I found a few I just thought I would share also I have nothing better to do...

1. 10 % of a meal using a discount card I got from my sister's school at Andy's
(btw) awesome food just yummy! 1.63

2. Jcpenny's Got John Boy a name brand shirt 5.33 with a $10 off coupon

3. Target Dansani water was 3.99 and its usually over 4 dollors (or it was the Food Lion I went to yesterday) i bought 2 24 packs 7.98 (it would have been $11 or more if I had gone to Food Lion) savings 4.00

4. Had to get some draino on the label it had a .55 cent coupon off on the label took that off and used it it was like 1.50
5. I also bought a lot of on sale items this week at Target ( When Target has a sale they have a SALE) I love shopping at target for on sale items when they are not on sale I cant afford them..

Got some Toliet cleaner for 1.73 and some Lean Cusines 1. 73 so I figured I saved at least 40.00 today on stuff I needed for around the house gotta love a sale!

And I also love COUPONS!!! i never thought I would be I do its like a obession now trying to find coupons for stuff we eat well I could have worst obessions I guess

Ok with any good things there are bad things

1. There is still some prejudices hate to say it but there are you cant leave some things in the past and that is one of them I still hear at the country gas station down the road the N word I cant stand that word but sadly its used here to this day

NOW LET ME SAY ITS NOT ALWAYS LIKE THIS BUT IAM JUST SPEAKING FROM EXPIERENCE AND MY OWN EYES AND Ears

2. Everything move slowier in the south the people, the jobs, the thoughts about certain things
Example: Thoughts about the ecomony, or the president, or Ipods even you dont see many older individuals with Ipods or computers they just dont know how to deal with them

3. Everyone in the south is a (should i dare say it) Republican GASP!
And you can not I repeat CAN NOT change there views on a black man trying to get into the white house shutter to think....
Laslty, in closing my favorite Reinactors God love them
They think they are going to change a 150 years old war sorry hate to tell them but nope General Lee will always surrendor and you cant change that no matter how many times a year you go out and fight it

But with all our shortcomings do i love living in the south HELL YES
More things I love the sense of community among people the neighbors that know you by name and the people at your local store that knew your grandfather and want to tell you stores everytime you go in

One more thing i love about the south how people will lift up there fingers to wave to you when they see you you never see that up north they usually are flicking people off up there I guess thats all i have to say but dont get me wrong I absoultly love the south i was born under a dixie flag and by god i will die under one.

First off I was raised in the south, there is no place i would rather be I have traveled to Ohio before but that all of leaving that I have done and I was only there for 4 days

The people is something else I love
This people will bend over backward for you no matter what
They couldn't be more nicer

Where to start hmmm....The beach was aweseome swam and enjoyed the breeze, Lovely! Susan, Tyler, Pam and Jim your fudge should be there in a few days.... I still have 2 pounds left might need to do a contest for them.... i passed all my classes but I have to wait til December to get my diploma sucks I didn't apply in time to qualify for summer graduation well I wasn't sure if i was going to pass so there blah! Lets see......I just ate some strawberrys and whipped cream YUMMYYYY!!! love fresh vegtables just hate the prices 2.57 for 1 ib of strawberrys insane.... everything is so expensive how are big people suppose to lose weight if vegtables and fruits are expensive.... I have some pictures of my niece and family on my other computer but since school ended i haven't felt like doing anything... Ruthe I still haven't done my double dog dare there were shark scares at the beach so i was going to walk down the beach in my bathing suit but no go so i will have to think about something else.... No job prospects just looking around I am also looking for a car my grandparents said that if i finshed my Master's degree they would buy me a car so I have been looking around and i have fell in love with this one but blogger wont let me post but its a 2006 Ford Focus its Grey and awesome problem is i have no clue what the gas is I have emailed the dealership but no email back yet.... So first off thanks Ruthe and Jim for responding to my blog the other day Ruthe i will doing my double dog dare at the Beach so i will get too it I cant wait to put my feet in the water and just relax i haven't gotten my test results back but i am sure they will be posted by next monday afternoon i am ok either way... I am so afraid that i am going to leave something important at home the packing is going ok just ready to get going i ordered my vacum cleanerparts and i got then and i changed parts out yesterday and my Roomba is sohappy what else... Beverly hills 90210 season 5 has come out but i have a $20 coupon off at best buy i am sooooooo going to use that the dvd will only be like 15.99 after that love Best buy rewards AWESOME! ok blog maybe will update when i get later blog!

1. Take test on monday find results out when i get back from beach on August 4th

2. Pack, and go to bank, stop mail til we get back all that good stuff

3. Get postcards at beach, along with fudge in Beafort NC for Jim, Pam, Susan, and Tyler (sugar free)

4. Look for job when i get back (not looking forward to this )

5.get dog pills and flea treatment on dog today (saturday)

My sister, my mom and step dad and niece are leaving tomorrow (sunday) my step dad is coming back on Tuesday night or Wendeday morning on Thursday we are going to join them with my grandmother and my brother and sister in law are going on Friday

My mom and sister and niece and brother and sister in law and grandmother are coming home Sunday me and John Boy are coming home Monday so i am sure i will take lots of video, and pictures and have lots of fun in the sun this semster has been grueling on me emontial and psyical and i am ready for the waves and the sun on my legs iam so ready now lol

Your getting the first scoop i got a 87 on my last test yes!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I was praying all the way to school and it came out great now I just have to get at least a 40 on the final exam to get a C and I am offical a graduate of grad school lol how weird is that?? I am already making plans to what to do next. who knows I really like school but i dont want to teach just learn, just want to learn i guess thats a good thing... We let our dog smokey in the house today its been getting really hot lately so we let him in he is a big dog and i hate for him to think this is pemaent if and when we get a new animal he has to stay outside, but for right now he is great and loving coming in he curls up in the front of the tv and sleeps but we are not going to let him stay inside the entire time we are on vacation next week but yeah....well i guess thats it.... i got two new shirts today it was about time one is tropez and white and the other is navy *sigh* ok later...

Ok i have been missing from Youtube since the wrestling event a few reasons

Yup those are the reasons, Just dont want to edit we took over 100 pictures and i edited those down yesterday taking out the blurry ones and ones you cant see anyone in. that process took like a hour or so to do

But now i am looking forward to July 29th after that day i will be free from school once again hopefully I will pass this math test and that makes me feel good. The 31st I am going with my family on a trip for a few days i am so ready for fun in the sun, and a nice time,

Hey blog,
So i know i have been out of the loop lately with the death of my cat, and school its been insane so lets see what have i been doing lately since my last blog, well i didn't leave the house much this past weekend just been spending time with John Boy and reading alot just trying to get centered again but I passed my last math test and I am still holding my C so I am feeling good about graduating after this semester!!! I AM SO HAPPY ABOUT THAT!! I am doing better about Sammies Death I know he is with His nana and papa ( JOhn boys parents) and doing great the Rainbow Bridge Poem helped alot and my youtube friends even thought I did get one hater comment about his death and just RID it (Remove Ignore Delete) I gave all of Sammies food away to my grandmother for her cats because I couldn't stand for it to be in the house anymore and I still have his litter box (its not full just litter is in it) and his sheets are still on the bed... Lets see not much else to talk about my mom's giving me issues but whats new and I got a book today that I ordered from Target.com I cant wait to read it but it might have to wait til the end of them month when i got to the beach. I guess that it my friend TYTY wants me in Stickam so later oh and i also need to to a youtube vlog i just have to get through it without crying or talking to much *sigh*

Today is a really really bad day i found out this morning my baby boy Sammie Lin passed away some butt head ran over him last night we had a funeral i read scripture and my sister put a flower on his grave he is buried in the back yard

Well today started all right we payed the care insurance (not too bad) since there is only one car on the account , we went to my SIL to see my niece and nephew and that was a blast we left there went to the bank, I had a check to cash (it was for $7.00 but hey its $7.00 and I couldn't get my license out of my wallet urghhhhhhhhh so after about 20 minutes of struggling I final got it out, well it was too late then my hubby had already cashed his check so we went off too eat and by this time it was 2 o clock (we din't leave til 11 and stayed at SIL for 2 hours) then went to Chili's I really wanted to go to the bookstore but i didn't there is 1 book I want that I saw on CNN maybe I can get it Tuesday (doubt it though moneys tight til Novemeber) then we went back to the bank cause I wanted my $7.00 lol then we went to Food Lion to pick up a few groceries I got lunch meat, chips, bread, and bagels ( i have had cream cheese in my fridge for a while so i needed to use it) and Andes mints I was going to get popcorn but they didn't have our kind, and Ice Cream Buy 1 get one Free YELPPPs so I got Butter pecan double churned Byers yummy! Checked out spent 25.00 not bad I thought then I ran into my neighbor and talked to her. Then we came home John Boy's stomach was bothering him... After awhile he left to run his own errands (to gamestop to get a game and to get things I missed like cat food, and sponges and they didn't have his powerade at Food Lion so he had to go to Walmart somewhere I didn't want to go on a friday afternoon) then he went to get Chinese for supper I wasn't hungry so I didn't eat while he was gone I did some math homework while things were quiet. Now he is back home I finished half of my math homework and Beverly Hills 90210 season 4 is in the tv. Well hubby comes home and tells me my BIL that i had seen 6 hours earlier got into a accident going around a curve too fast not harmed I dont think we will more news proably tomorrow. Dont really have many plans for Tomorrow more Math and Maybe going to eat with my mom if she doesn't call then John. boy is going to get a haircut. Oh yea I have to get a part for my vacum cleaner and its 14.99 online well I hate giving my debt card number online so I am going to see if my mom will buy it with her credit card and let me pay her back I sure hope so I hate to have to ask my SIL she has the same vacum cleaner that I do but I dont want her to know that I payed less for mine and she payed like $600 for hers when I payed 320 for mine but I need a part urghh.. so i think thats my day see ya

Well I passed my math TEST WHOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!!!! with a 79 was I proud of that grade? No I would have liked it higher but whatever I thought about taking it over but I dont know tonight will be a early night because people are going to want to retest. Now the person behind me made a 97 and the person behind him made a 100 so yea i feel like the stupid person of the row. What else.... no rain HOT and i am thinking we will be in drough season soon no rain and alot of people using it when we didn't need it we got it and now nothing. In the mail today i got 20 off at Best buy I will proably use that when we go to the beach in the end Of July and a 7.00 check for something not sure what. I finished my book last night and off the bookcase it went now I am on to my favorite authors book Fearless Fourteen I like it so far. And I finished Beverly Hills 90210 season 3 last night too. So thats done. So I need to call the Mawell House Hotel but I am afraid that I am going to have to put down a deposit and I really dont want to waste money like that If I cant go 95 a night thats pretty expensive when you dont have that kind of money to throw away like that cause I have no clue where I will be come October I just know where I will be July 16 and July 31st after that no clue! So, Last night i had a major headache so i went to bed early I laid down and I couldn't sleep so I turned on the tv. Now after seeing what was on Larry King (more politics talk) I turned on VH1 and watched I love the Millinum (sp) it showed all the different stuff from 2000, 2001 etc all the way up to this year airing later this week. And then I watched Tori and Dean Home Sweet Hollywood I know trashy reality but it wasn't so bad i watched 2 hours of that then I watched Flipping Out on Bravo that was pretty good, but as I sat there and watched I thought how many hours a tv can kill, and how many hours Stickam can kill and how many hours movies can kill but how come when I am sitting in math time almost stand still? Thats just a musing its hot here today we haven't a good rain storm in a while I would love one. We really need it the crops are going to die without it and my grandpa is a farmer so just imagaine how much money he is losing ALOTTTTT my mom got a new car for her new job in Garner NC she is traveling a hour and a half a day home she wanted something that didn't suck alot of gas. Toyota Camry sometimes I wish i had a car the drama of my car is in 2005 I got hit and the other person ran (yea a hit and run) it would have costed 2500 to repair it i didn't have the money so we parked it and now 3 years later still it sits my grandfather said that he would buy me a new car BUT i have to finish school so yea its a bargin deal and that stinks because THE ONLY THING HOLDING ME BACK IS MY MATH CLASSS talk about pissed ok thats enough for right now....

Hey yall

Its been SOOOOOOOOOOOOO long since I did this I dont know where to begin? Ok school ended last semster It wasn't my greatest semester but it was pretty good 2 A's a B and a C not bad math blahh didn't finish but I am finshing this up now in Summer School so all is good. The next question is what I am going to do once I finsh this summer. Do I want to get a Job? Or continue a new Major who knows right now the job market sucks and school is looking better and better. Marriage Life is good busy and tiring but I will be ok. My baby niece Savannah left the last of May for a month to Lousiana to see my SIL folks and I miss her terribly! But at the end of July all of my family is going away on vacation together so it wont be so bad. Well I say that now who knows. Lets Friday the 13th was my 24th birthday I marvel about how far I have come and the things this life has offered me and I love it. I relativly healthy( Well I am a big Girl) i have a awesome family the best of friends and i love my life. Some things could change ( like me a car) but I am not dwelling. I was surprised and happy that all my youtube friends came for my birthday Stickam party last night I saw SOOOOOOO many people that I have missed and haven't seen in forever ( Jim, Ruth Justin, Doug, Stacey, Tyler etc.... it made me feel like that was home almost like I was around family and I just had a ball.well I guess pretty much it thanks for sticking with me and i hope to blog more soon

Current Musings and Such

Ok I had wrote this big huge blog and then gone so I guess I have to start this ALL OVER AGAIN URGH sometimes I think computers are the bomb and then i rethink it and start writing in pen and paper LOL ok So I know I haven't updated since my uncle passed away so how am I whats up hows math?

Well I am a little bit better I think that it was just the rush of his death that shocked me soo much but i talked to my Aunt and I felt better and she is taking it one day at a time so am I guess I hope I will see him again some day and then we will catch up on old days once a again.

Life is ok Just really busy sometimes I think its 5 oclock somewhere lol But its easter break time and i plan on laying the sun and reading to my little hearts content on the beach! LOVES IT!!!

Ok now on to math its still horrible but i love the people i have met in that class and some of the things i have learned if i do need to repeat it at least i will have a head start on some of the material. I can only hope for a C PRAY FOR ME!!! I might look smart but thats not always the case LOL

Ok so next thing is easter I love easter because I get out of school, and get to see the wonderful easter celebration that my church holds on the saturday before that sunday and too see all the kids running and stuff makes me happy my church I will have to save for anything blog that a whole other story

Lastly, I am going to talk about a personal subject Politices and what I think now if you dont want to know ignore this part but If you want to listen keep reading

My personal opioion is that I am going to vote for Obama now the last election I am not saying who I voted for but lets just say I am disaponnted to say the least but that was 4 years ago and I am a better person not because I work in mental health I think that Obama is the right canidate for the job. Lets hope that He listens to the people and helps the current situation with Iraq. Also I hope that he helps the people that are just coming back from Iraq with there PDSD
(Post tramtic stress syndrome) because they are coming back and are killing there wives and families and just going off because of something that was flashed back in there brains and its not their fault but after a few days of recoparation they are allowing these vets to come home not helped with their psychological needs and barely met their pysical needs i have a friends husband that did 2 tours in Iraq he came back and at New Years totally went off because of the firecrackers that God he didn't hurt her but still now he is back in Texas trying to get the help that he is needed and this is the 3 rd time he has been back their they tell him that he is sane but his wife and family know better but anyway OFF MY SOAP BOX PROMISE!!!

Bad Week

Ok this week just started off terrible
First My uncle Blair passed away on monday needless to say i was shocked and saddened by this event we were always close I just hope that I can move on i know it will just take some time but it i am still shocked by it. Secondly work monday night was terrible my boss was all over my ass and she acted like she didn't even like me what a great start then Monday I found out I would have a test on Wendesday WHATTTTT????? Total shock to the system So tuesday was a little better nothing to earth shaking i like my days like that other than I found out that my unc le didn't want a visitation so no viewing I was ok with that. Well today URGHHH day I found out I got passed over too see him one more time that sucked I really wanted to say good bye. The funeral was beautful they even let people talk And it gave me a little closure on what happened by going to the grave site. And my test was today I gave it all i got but I still dont want to know the results and on top of that I have a debate Tomorrow in my social problems class. If i make it to friday I would have survived a tremodous week!!

Peer Pressure sucks!

Ok were I work we tell the kids to not to listen when they are pressured into doing something either illegal or uneithical. Well I should take my own advice. Lately I have been boged down with pressure from my family, work and society i wish I could just live at the beach not have to work for the rest of my life. My family pressures me into graduating even though I have a pretty good job now they always want something better for me. Work might not be there come May and I dont know what I am going to do then downsizing sucks btw. School urghh I have said before Math is what is going to kill me. Now give me a english class or psychology class I am all for it but Math Forgettabout it. Teachers expect alot more now then when i graduated college the first time either that or I am going crazy so far before April I have a debate in Sociology which isn't that big a deal because I love to talk blame by southern upbringing I guess I have a 10 page Reflection paper which I have already started but its just havingn to work on it that the problem alot of information and alot of questions to answer. Math tests every week. My World of Work class ends in March because its on a 8 week class but i am so busy before then its not funny once that class is over i will have more time to devote to Math if everything goes right i will graduate in May but its like I have said before its just Math holding me back. Now before you say Allison get tutoring I have tried that they TEACHER NEVER SHOWED UP!!! and I have going to the math lab because if you dont get a concept they look at you like your stupid and I dont want to cry when i get there. So much pressure. I need a stress reliver or just move to the beach hey thats always option lol later blog buddy!

Ok well lets get started I blog mostly on youtube twice a week or myspace once in a while, but here goes..

Well whats up in life...

First, life is busy/ normal for me work, school thats pretty much my life I like that life .I am comfortable with it. I have never been much of a partier. Where I grew up there wasn't much room for that i guess.

Ok School first of all is ok Math URGHHH why do I need math to be a therpist? I doubt i will pass it anyway the teacher looks at me like i am a dummy but i guess she can she is the one that is payed to teach me something but yet she is always talking about her life HELLO teach me I have to graduate...
Now mind you I have a degree but couseling is my passion its what I want to be someone that helps people. Not cure them mind you but help them see different ways to handle things...

I loved the Psychology classes I took everybody looks at me like i am freek when i tell them that but i loved them I am also a observer I like to watch people in the things they do and how that behave oh well so blog for the first blog more to come....
